Barn Restaurant

I enjoy eating at all the great restaurants in the city. I really enjoy coming here for it's authenticity. Sure there are fancier places. But the food and the people that work here are first class! This restaurant reminds me of a place I used to eat as a kid in a small town in Saskatchewan. Go enjoy and try the breakfast!!!

Good food great family restaurant

Wait staff is friendly, welcoming and the counters are spotlessly clean! Counters shine. Our breakfast was made by the owner himself and many things are made in house. Prices are great for the location downtown so that that is rare these days when prices are on the rise everywhere. Great for a quick stop in for a bite if you're looking to fill up and continue your day. It's not a place to chill since the ambiance is pretty basic. We saw a few locals or regulars here so don't be surprised if you see a few characters seated but overall not a rowdy crowd and it was a good experience so we're going to return. Again staff is absolutely lovely and adds to the experience. Oh, and this place serves alcohol so that's a nice bonus. Corona anyone?

Nice place, run by friendly people, with good, no-nonsense food. Also enjoyed a good, no-nonsense primer on US foreign policy delivered by a fellow diner. Yes he'd had a few, but he was no more addled than what he was describing.

Classic diner.

Quick, affordable food and very friendly staff. A bottle of blue and a burger (no fries) was less than 12 bucks and hit the spot. The all day breakfast was a nice option on a seperate visit.

Great staff!!! The chef is a good guy. I recommend the club house or banquet burger, also the fish and chips. There's a jukebox and pool table. Large screen TV for sports. Great prices and large menu.

Cheaper than McDonald’s, I’m not kidding. Food is good, portions are large, service is great.

The service was excellent and the people memorable. The food however is not so great. The potatoes have a faint freezer burn taste to them, the sausage was good at first but I was overwhelmed by the grease. I couldn't finish the sausage and I could only stomach a few of the potatoes. The toast and eggs were good. Overall I wouldn't come back here unless it was for coffee and a conversation.

Nice place to eat and drink and good music to play and they have a pool table for people to play.
